I reside in one of the most ancient city of Europe - Kiev. I am 20, am a student at the International Relations High School.

Kyiv is the city where the modern and the old make excellent possibilities for cultural and aesthetical exploration. Nevertheless, before you become a visitor to this fabulous city, take your time to decide on at least two points: accommodation and transport.

Let us discuss choosing an accommodation. Depending on your budget and your tastes, you could either choose to rent a room in a Kiev hotel, or rent an apartment. Mind the class of Kiev hotels to estimate the quality of the service and accommodation and the price you are willing to pay for it.

Kyiv boasts of a number of five and four star hotels. There are virtually dozens of less luxurious Kiev accommodation facilities. A five star accommodation is going to cost you around $400-850 per night, 4 stars will cost $150-$500, 3 star hotels will be about $70-300, 2 stars will be from $50 to 120 and small and one star hotels charge around 25-100 per night.

There exist also several hostels in the city for youth. In a regular hostel you will have modest but clean accommodation facilities and several sofas or beds in one and the same room.
