The science which studies substance is named chemistry. It was born out of alchemy, an ancient science that studied, among other things, to find the elixir of life and make gold of iron. The primary purpose of the modern chemists is to study the reactions that are happening on the molecular level and get known more about the processes happen between various matters. That is also quite necessary to determine the laws to have the chance to create the needed substances from other ones. Chemistry, biology and physics are the sciences that have a lot of joint objectives.
