Collaboration

When people deal with each other, they use three key approaches: conversing, transacting and collaborating (teamworking).

If you care to make the correct choice about your software application, you have to understand the differences that are significant between those interactions.

Conversational interaction is about finding unfamiliar information or building relationships. A case of a transactional interaction is when you venture into the supermarket and change your money for groceries.

Collaborative interactions are structured in such a way that the main purpose of the participants is to introduce changes into the collaboration substance from something non-secured and immaterial, for example, an idea, into something useful, for instance a design solution.

Collaboration Software

Collaboration software is considered to be one type of groupware programs that make it easier for people communicate information and work together on projects.

Its powerful usefulness allows participants to manage action plans, access shared documents, track projects, moderate schedules, facilitate business processes, be promptly notified of any tasks and events they are involved in. There are a number of approaches to making these applications useful: moderating activities, papers and projects, optimizing business processes and coordinating work of two or more departments or even offices.
