Any project coordinator handles four variables: expenditure, timing, duration and producing a satisfactory result. A bit more ambitious goal is to enchance work organization and resource attribution. Look at your project and you will observe that it needs labour, finance and equipment to give end outcomes. To manage projects successfully you should handle several things. A few of them can be found in the next paragraph:

- Goal setting and assessing achievement.

- Handling uncertainty. The majority of projects feature a certain level of uncertainty.

- Allocating people and machinery for the project.

- Understanding the result you want to have when the project is finished.

- Managing what is going on: giving out tasks, controlling execution.

- Managing adequate quality.

- Dealing with change. Change is constant. All tasks develop in time, so the factor of dynamics should be properly considered.

- Talking to people involved with the project.

To handle these issues you can use pencil and a notepad or probably a spreadsheet program. But you get some interesting pluses if you decide to use project tracking software:
